🌿 Meet the Artist

Hi, I’m Jodi — an artist, crocheter, and daydreamer who finds joy in small details, soft colours, and the slow rhythm of handmade things.

I draw, paint, and crochet creatures, flowers, and stories — inspired by the gentle life by the bay and the charm of imperfection.
Every piece I make, whether it’s a watercolor koala or a tiny crocheted turtle, begins as a spark of curiosity and turns into something that feels alive, kind, and quietly cheerful.

My world is full of colour — soft turquoise skies, blush petals, honey tones, gumleaf greens — and a little bit of yarn fluff on everything I own.

🎨 What I Make

I create across three worlds:

• Art & Illustration — watercolor and pencil drawings of Australian animals and coastal life, often with a gentle, whimsical touch.
• Crochet Creations — plush toys, earrings, and soft sculptures made freehand (no two ever quite the same).
• Printable Designs — hand-drawn greeting cards and illustrations you can download, print, and share at home.

Each piece — whether physical or digital — carries the same intention:
to spark joy, connection, and the feeling of something made slowly, thoughtfully, by human hands. Many of my pieces are made to order — it’s part of the joy of slow making.
Each one is crafted by hand, just for the person who’ll love it next.

🧵 My Creative Philosophy

Handmade work isn’t about perfection — it’s about care.
I believe art should feel approachable, personal, and full of warmth.
That’s why I work in small batches, often freehand, and let each design evolve naturally.

I love blending old and new — traditional materials with digital illustration, crochet textures with watercolor washes.
It’s all part of telling stories through texture, colour, and heart.

🐝 Around Hervey Bay

You’ll often find me at local Hervey Bay markets, surrounded by friendly faces, curious kids, and the occasional coastal breeze that tries to fly off with my business cards.

I love chatting with people who stop by — whether they’re fellow makers, visitors discovering local art, or someone simply looking for a gift that feels special.
Those moments of connection are what keep me inspired.
